Composites

Our composite rams originate from Charollais and Beltex genetics. They are a breed designed for the modern environment aiming to increase lamb prices with a low feed and health cost. These rams are often the first to sell from home. Double muscling and conformation whilst maintaining size, locomotion and ease of lambing. They will fit all types of ewes and systems but come into there own on extensive systems adding size and conformation to smaller and maternal breeds. They are a great improver, allowing for the use of minimal input ewes with a low feed requirement but still producing lambs with good growth and conformation which can hit the spec for live market or grade well deadweight. Lambs also have a high worm resilience.
